I recently moved my site from mybb 1.8 to vbulletin 4.2.3. Now i have problem of redirecting old urls to new vbulletin friendly mod rewrite urls.

How can i redirect the old urls of mybb: https://www.google.co.in/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=PfPJVZ60DKrG8AfLxprIBA&gws_rd=ssl#q=site:worldofdth.com
that has "site.com/thread-thread title
site.com/forum-forum title"
like url structure with thread prefixes in some urls to
vbulletin 4.2.3 mod rewrite urls. Examples of mod rewrite urls are available on my site http://www.worldofdth.com/forum.php like worldofdth.com/threads/16391-tata-sky-removed-indiavision?

Can some help me redirecting old mybb urls to new vb4.2 friendly urls please?

Looks like vbulletin staff don't need new customers, thats why no reply and no help has been provided to me yet :(

vBulletin.org = not vBulletin.com.

vBulletin.org is "The Official vBulletin Modifications Site", with of course questions regarding vBulletin as well.

I see you are using apache.. so, make a .htaccess file in your forums home directory (if one doesn't exist yet) or edit to so it includes this:

//Redirection
Redirect 301 /forum-infotainment-channels /forums/42-Infotainment-Channels

That 'should' fix one of the forum urls. Mentioned one to see if it works.. I never use htaccess, so I think its worth a shot.
