Is this a common occurrence?

Each time a static html module is created it lines up in the 'Add Module' area and cannot be renamed, deleted or edited? Neither can it be named in 'My Custom Modules.'

That is going to cause issues on your site. What are you doing that is causing them to multiply?

I created them.
I am guessing that they are custom modules but I can't rename or do anything with them apart from use them for the purpose of which they were created.

Annoying.

I believe that upgrading to 5.1.9 will fix the issue.
