I have to give FTP access of my forum domain to a web developer. After he's done working what he's supposed to do, I want to make the forum secure again. I'll start by changing the FTP login details. What else should I be changing? vB admin passwords? DB password? What else? Any tips?

If you only gave temporary FTP access and not your main account info, I would just remove his access. If the info you gave him allowed him to access your host then yes, change that info.

No need to change admin password if you did not give that away. I'd change the db password since that's in plaintext in config.php.

always remember "BACKUP".
there is some steps..
1. Change FTP password.
2. Change database password
NOTE : Remember to change "includes/config.php" password of database too.
3. Change forum administrator password
last step, Check Additional group Users
by going to :
admincp -> Usergroup -> Usergroup manager
check if there anyone administrator in (Additional Users)
Why Database password ?
- To kill any script that used by the developer if he is going to backstabbing you !
~ Good luck.
