installing the latest version of vb 5.1.8 get to here

Status: Processing XML, Step 4 of 20

and everything just sits there any idea where i am going wrong

Put in a support ticket see if they can help but they might just say the same

how long should that bit take so i know not to refresh before that time

Depends how many tickets before yours, but once you make it don't reply any more to it as it moves it in the queue

Try deleting everything off server and download and upload a new package ....

Try reinstalling after that ...

tried that 3 times have put countless tickets in as i ordered and paid for the install early last week no one ever replies i am not best pleased only reason i am trying to install is i getting fed up with waiting

If you paid for an install they do it right away once you have given them all the info to login with like FTP site url, etc. etc. If you have not given them this yet, then this is why it has not been installed as they are waiting for you

i given them all the info and they asked me one question i have been emailing them every day since and no one replies this has been going on since 18th Jul 2015 05:02pm

Yes, you need to wait for a reply as every time you reply to the ticket it puts it to the bottom of the list
