Attachment thumbnail problem

I have a 3.7.4 vbulletin forum and the thumbnails appear as links.

I would like to appear as re-sized small images.

My forum has thumbnails enabled and the related options in attachment permissions. I don't know why the images of the thumbnails don't show up.

Any ideas?
