Sort Who Read Thread Users

This mini-mod allows you to sort the users who appear in the "Members who have read this thread" block either by userid, username or dateline (in ascending order).

The idea for this came from a request posted by bazookajoe (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=297643) here:

Code posted in the above thread posted by kh99 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=346440) and Paul M (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=63698) was utilized in this product.

Updates:

Version 1.1:


Sort by username now case-insensitive.


To Install:

Download and extract the attached .zip file.

In AdminCP go to Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product.

Click on "Choose File" and browse to the product .xml file that was packaged in the .zip file.

Click "Import"

You MUST set your settings to enable the mod. Each setting has an explanation of its use.

Off the top of my head, I would think this would require creating a table to use as a log that tracks every single visit by every single member to every single thread. On a large active board, this table could grow to great size.

This simple product is really just meant to allow you to sort the existing list in 1 of 3 ways. :D

I have an issue with user name sorting
it's almost like it makes two lists it goes from a to z the again from a to z

If you're looking for new mod ideas, I have a few suggestions.
oozmd made a mod to exclude a forum id from activity stream but it doesn't work in latest vb4.2 and the mod is now is the graveyard

You might want to make a working version.

Found some plugin suggestion here, didn't work though, probably broken in 4.2
