You know i'm feeling ya, Shinra Online. You guys really set the trend on Member Activity, Fun and with your unique "Gil" rewards are awesome. I am a member there already and have been for several weeks.

Nice layout, nice interactivity, awesome administration and cool members.

Overall 9/10

I really like the background... one thing you may wish to change are the on'off icons and the tables a bit differently then the ones that come with vB. also some sigs are 5 times bigger then the users post. (about 80% of the page is the sigs).

thanks everyone. I'm glad to hear that you guys like it

However, i so disagree with our "look" of our forum, but you can be t that we're in progress of making it oloo k better. We're a different kind of forum, yet the look of it is too "default". i've been some great looking forums, and in all honesty i do not believe ours measure up to the standards in terms of how it looks.
take this forum here for example, i think it's without a doubt one of the nicest looking forum i ever saw, and no doubt it runs good under the hood as well

however, i agree with you on the environemtent, we got a great community going on, and it's because we were able to round up a fairly nice group of people, and also at the same time have some of the greatest moderators and admins. I think our gil system is very qunique and adds a different twist to members and encourages to not "spam", also at the same time it promotes activities. It's like the big hidden underground arcade that people go to after work for fun.

when, i redeisgn the look of it, i'll be sure to see what you guys think of it.

Thanks!

Most members change them fairly regularly, and it's interesting to see what new stuff they have there.

Yeah, the long sigs can be annoying, but they're getting better, thanks to the Sig Police.

And stay away from Sector 7... it's like the Hormel channel...

All spam, all the time.

Really?
I saw it, but i dont understand how it works...

In short... it reads your user info, gets your Gil, which is a custom user field.

It then checks your Gil against what you wish to purchase. If you don't have enough, it says so.

Otherwise you get a form to fill in with the pertinent details.

Submit the form and it deducts the appropriate amount of Gil and does whatever it's supposed to do.

Pretty simple all told...

I'm probably going to throw together a quasi-hack qith the various code snippets I used that you can use yourself to make it.

Ah

I see you released the Gil hack

Will it be integrated with this?

Yes and No -- operationally, it does. Scripting wise - its a stand alone file that doesnt require the actual Points hack.
