Below this message, in the section for the buttons to email me, pm me, quote my message, etc., next to the buddy button there is a 0 (zero). What is it there for?
It seems to appear next to the buddy icon for everyone.

it's the number of referals that you got.

If that is true, then maybe it should be: a) labelled; b) places somewhere that actually make some sense, such as over on the left, in the same area as your post count, join date, etc.

That's a good point. Maybe under posts or something.

Also, I listed John as my referral (since I found out about this place from his announcement at the .com), but I just looked at one of his posts, and he has a zero, too. It should be at least one, I would think?

who knows? (probably FireFly) but i may be wrong about the referals thing.. that 0 could mean something else.

Ah, I was asking myself this too.. vbHacks, how did you get the Refferals to show up in the Postbit? I asked this @ vbulletin.com but yet to get a solution.

it's simple. all you have to do is add a extra query inside your showthread.php file...

heh.. I know that, but what query?

Well actually the 0 is a complete mistake. Because my php skills are VERY limited, I have not the slightest clue to go about fixing it. Firefly seems to be enjoying his sleep, so when he wakes up he will be able to fix it.

Bumping a 15 year old thread? Seriously?

Well one thing we can all safely assume is that... a "0" from fifteen years ago is more than likely long gone and hasn't been displayed since it was fixed so on that note, closing this thread that's older than my current fourteen year old :p.

Are you insane. Check the bloody date of threads before you start bumping them.
