Today I realized an issue with standard Message Posting Doublepost
Before updating my forum to vb4.2.0 i was using Doublepost Prevention v4.1.0.7 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233234) I uninstalled it. But Vbulletin's (Message Posting Doublepost) does not make thread unread, only changes the time inside the post and out side it shows the started time.
Timestamp Update is checked. If I install again the v4.1.0.7 and disable vb's all works fine.
Any clue? If I keep Doublepost Prevention v4.1.0.7 is there a problem?
Actually today I installed MarkFL mod Mark Thread Unread On Edit (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=318686) this fixed my problem some how.
But I wiil not use Marks mod for all usergroups.
Thanks for any help

If I enable the "Message Posting Doublepost Options" checking on my dev site (with "Timestamp Update" set to "Yes"), and then use of of my dummy accounts to double post, here is the post:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=152498&stc=1&d=1431920990
Note the timestamp of 11:41 pm.
Now, when I go to the Forum Display page for the forum containing the thread which contains the above post, I see:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=152499&stc=1&d=1431920990
And then when I go to the home page, I see:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=152500&stc=1&d=1431920990
Note that the timestamp has been correctly updated in all 3 places.
Can you provide similar screenshots so we can see what happens on your forum?

This is when started post 13:02
152501
New merged post here, time changes inside 13:10
152502
Same image as first above, it does not change when we see out of post.
Even if I press F5 several times, even with other test users and all browsers.
13:02
152501
If I install Doublepost Prevention v4.1.0.7 where is for vb4.1.12 woks fine in my vb4.2.0
All timestamp than updated in all places.
Maybe a problem when I uninstall this mod it uninstalls some code from the vb's standard Message Posting Doublepost?? Really its crazy, I have tried disabling many other mod I use but nothing to show that it conflicts, there are other to disable but I must close forum to make the test. Thanks for the answer and for your help testing to you're site.

That's odd, and unfortunately I have no idea why this is happening on your site. I doubt it has anything to do with the version of vB you are running. I also doubt that the add-on you mentioned is removing any code from your core files.
I highly recommend setting up a local server/dev site on your hard drive for making such tests. However you choose to run a test for add-on conflicts, try adding the line:
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
to the top of your "config.php" file and see if the issue persists.

I have a test site duplicated from my on line one. Problem does not exist when i use Doublepost Prevention v4.1.0.7 as mentioned above, all works fine. i disabled one by one all mods, nothing changed, This issue came up only using default vb's Message Posting Doublepost and this is standard to vb4.2.0 an on.
Any way this weak i will revert me test forum to vb4.1.12 and update it again. Than i see again if there is any luck.
Thank you for advices.
