At first, I liked the new colors of this site... I'm a big fan of dark colors... but I have two issues:
1. This site doesn't look like a professional 'business' site. Don't get me wrong, it's VERY well done, and looks 'professionally done', but it looks like more of a gaming site, or something else... not something like a business site.
2. After extended viewing of the site (15+ min?), the color scheme is giving me a headache and it's kinda hard to keep looking at.

I plan on making a style, just the plain jane vbulletin style for those that dont want the fancy version. I hope that helps.

I agree a lighter scheme would be very helpful (or at least make the alt 1/2 colors lighter colors like greys while keeping the darker colors on the outside..
I get eye-strain after 2 minutes of looking at this design.

in fairness, this is the fun side of vBulletin, and the colour scheme reflects that. Personally, I really like it (and it looks very tasty on an LCD running with WinXP Cleartype)

Thanks Kier, A lot of people dont like it so I am going to make another style they can select. That style will be just plane jane vb colors, like the old forum :D
Reminds me of the quizno's commericial where the guy runs away keeping his bushes :D lol

I know that ... It's not like I'll stop coming here because the scheme doesn't look like I want it ... I just wanted to bring that bit up. If you aren't shooting for the pure business look, then that's fine ... there's nothing wrong with that. It's just that I'm not fond of it, it's totally a personal thing is all.
However, the dark on dark color scheme used here DOES give me a headache, and THAT may stop me from coming back, since I have some odd aversion to pain :)
A new style would be perfect... would allow everyone to have what they want :)

Keep this design, just change the colors on the area people need to read to text black with colors that black can be read on. This design is cool. just hard to read white on dark color. so have a light version of the design with lighter colros ONLY for the 2 alternating colors with black text. keep the rest dark.

It's better to make multiple ones. I for one like this design a lot!
