Hi

Was searching for something similar, but no luck.

I am planing to use something like this on my VB BLOGS, why blogs, well .....

Was planing to remove blogs from my VB but just got an idea that VB blog system can be used as something similar to yahoo questions and answers.

Its all there only what is missing is "best answer" option :)

Any ideas how I would be able to do something like this, or maybe there is some coder who will take care of this?

Think this would be interesting for many VB owners

For those who maybe dont know
"best answer" in yahoo "questions and answers" is an option for one who was asking question, he would simply chose best answer which will be placed on top and marked with some icon.

You could probably download one of the Post Like systems here on vB.org and manipulate it so if post likes higher than other posts display in a descending order or something.

Not as straight forward as 1,2,3 though so if no script exists you will need to head to paid products possibly.

Think that will not help, on another hand I cant pay for such a modification as my site is not profitable, I just manage to pay hosting with advertise income....

Many of us have blog system together with VB, I remember when purchased VB blog system was purchased separately, and since I bought VB I never used Blogs.
This could be nice way that we attract users to be more interactive and to stay online

Will set my VB blogs as "questions and answers" even without this option :)

There is a mod called Answer Forums (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=269776&highlight=answers) or you could try THIS (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233296&highlight=answers) one. Try that it may do more of what you want instead of trying to modify the blogs to do it. Modifying the blogs would be a crap load of work and may not work how you want it in the end.
