What happened to Ozzy47? All of his mods are in the graveyard? How is this possible? He is a fantastic coder and was bringing out some awesome mods, to see them all now in the graveyard is hugely disappointing. If he's been upset by one of the mods/admin on vb.org you guys really need to make amends, it will be a huge loss to vb.org if we were to lose Ozzy.

Ozzy resigned as advisor and requested that his mods be graveyarded, so it was entirely his decision, and he didn't elaborate on his reasons. If he had specific problems with anyone here, you'll have to find out elsewhere because that kind of discussion isn't allowed here.

Who will be an advisor now? Ozzy was the best advisor ever.

I'm sure that he became millionaire from the Donations for his 300 AddOns and for his Thousands of helpfull answers and he decided to spent that million dollars travelling around the world.

Seems like people have to download the mods from his site now, although how are people supposed to know they can find/download the mods over there?

LOL, but no, that has nothing to do with his decision.

I am only surprised that he did not that sooner. If the user base here would not be selfish, but appreciated the coders and those that help them with their forum issues, then maybe he and/or others would not have left the community.

lol :D

I really doubt that any of those reason you mentioned had anything to do with why he left. Unless he himself or one of the Staff here at V.org say why he left we should not make any assumptions.

This is not directed at ozzy only.

I just don't get it.
Why is this site even open?
Licensed vbulletin members are granted access to this site as part of their deal when buying vbulletin. Granted it does not mean anything has to be here for them to use.
This is where they come to see what coders have created and are offering to the community.
This is where they come to discuss vbulletin with

Over the years coders (whom I deeply appreciate all their time and efforts to give this community free and paid addons) have come and gone, some leaving behind a legacy of someone who has written addons and willing to help out whenever possible but, have left their addons up for all to continue to use. But there have been the many that have said piss on this community and requested their modifications get grave yarded.
What is the point in that, to hurt vbulletin?
No, you are hurting the members here that use the modifications and those that would like to download and install your modifications.

So what is the point of having this site up and running if a coder gets a wild hair up his/her ass and wants to leave and want all their products shut down.
vbulletin may have screwed up with vb4 and vb5 which lead to many coders leaving but,.... It is the coders and their products that get people to even think about buying vbulletin, without the coders vbulletin would simply suck.

I say Shame on all that have left here and had their products shut down, no one will remember you for creating great products, they will remember you for leaving and having access removed for anyone to use your great products on this site.
So again, I ask, why is this site here if people can not use the products created by coders even though they are no longer here.

All products posted on this forum should remain active for all to use, period. If coders did not want to allow their products used then they should have never posted them here in the first place.

IMO all graveyard plugins should still be available for download with a warning message at the attachments/download link.

Once a plugin is in the graveyard (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=302780) it cant be downloaded

Ozzy47 requested to leave, thats his choice, whatever his reasons.

As far as removing mods, anyone has the right to ask for their modifications to be removed if they so wish, thats not going to change, nor should it. We have no rights to demand that peoples work be available forever.

If you want to discuss that in general, please feel free to create a new thread as this one is now closed.
This topic is specific to a single person, and there isnt any more to be said than whats already been posted.
