What is this mod all about?
This mod adds a canonical tag (Read here (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/139066?hl=en)) to the head section of the archive when viewing a post. This way you'll tell search bots that the original content can be found at the orginal tthread link, which will be added in the tag automaticly (including friendly URL support!).

How to install:

- Download the XML file below
- AdminCP-> Product Management-> Add/Import product: Import the XML file.

How to use:
You can enable/disable the plugin within your AdminCP settings, enable it and it should work.

Now find an archived thread and view the source, if all went well you should see this line added to your source code:

Versions

1.0.0 - First release
1.0.1 - Bug fix for lower PHP versions + mod URL added

I guess this isn't needed if we already use vBSEO or DBSEO?

I don't use the archive anymore. I don't recommend it either. Great mod though.

Why you no longer use archive?

1. I wouldn't recommend the use of vBSEO as it's unsupported and resource heavy
2. In the features list DBTech doesn't mention the use of canonical tags in the archive, also I can't check it myself as I don't use DBSEO (Read my comment in his thread, it made my server load go up 3x the usual load).

vb3 compatible ? Thank You

Give it a quick try, it might work as it uses just a few lines of code.
