Trying to remove the last post date on the forumhome and forumdisplay

Did you try editing the forumhome_lastpostby template to remove it?

In the template forumhome_lastpostby, find:

$lastpostinfo[lastpostdate] <if condition="!$show['detailedtime']"><span class="time">$lastpostinfo[lastposttime]</span></if>

</div>

Replace it with:
