Hello, I acquired a baseball forum that went inactive and then re-booted. I completely re-designed it and branded the name into http://overtimeheroics.com/forum.php

I customized the design myself, I still have a lot of coding clean up to do due to previous installs/customizations from previous admins.

Looking for any feedback I could get on the forum. I have designed in years before doing this to my new forum.

We are averaging over 100+ members a day and over 1500 post, it's so awesome!!

Looks good, colors are nice, but you need to work on the sites speed.

You can try some optimizing by reading the following two threads.

http://ozzmodz.com/showthread.php/2580-Speed-Up-Your-Site-Within-The-ACP

There is also a issue with your VSA stats mod.

Very nice but speeding it up will help as you have a lot of images

Yep it's a buttload of images that's the reason it is well over 2MB page load. Can reduce that greatly by making images which don't need to be transparencies, into progressive JPEG images instead of PNGs (That's most of them you use actually). Cut your load in half that way.

Logo is too big, should resize it to smaller one

Should remove Search Engine Friendly Archives box, it's not necessary for your forum.

1. Lose the shadow and shading on the forum areas then it will look much cleaner and not so murky. Plus it will make it line up and not look like the forum area are too wide for the background. It makes it look off kilter. Everything else for the most part look really good then you have this horrible looking shading/shadow :(

2. Make the logo not quite as tall. Really looks strange with the width of the forum. Its not proportionate.

3. Increase the padding on the style. Seems that it has been taken down really too much as there is no padding between the contents and the sides and letters are on the edge which for some people makes it very hard to read. It also looks sloppy. It will look much cleaner if you just increase the padding by about 10px.

4. Postbit looks great! I must commend you on that one. :)

Otherwise looks pretty good. I see you have done quite a bit of work with it. :)
