So a mod has been overzealous in soft deleting threads. I looked in the mod log and found quite a bit, which I know affects google as I am getting google telling me I have a lot of soft 404's. Anyways, how do I narrow down only threads that have been soft deleted (not other things - just a list of of deletes) and find out what they were and restore them if need be? Thanks.

Go Google webmaster tool and find all soft 404 errors and add them to htaccess file. Using 301 redirect to any page you want. You will remove all these errors.
Don't forget to fetch google bot to make the process happen faster.

I think he asks how to restore the soft deleted threads.
Go to your User Control Panel (not the AdminCP, but the UserCP!). There should be a link in the meu on the left to a list of all soft deleted threads for you to review (and restore, if you like to).

Do I get there from clicking on the users name and looking in his profile? Not sure thanks.
EDIT: I found it. Thanks.

Thanks. Can you explain how I add them to the htaccess (what do I put in htaccess?)? Thanks.
