Hi i would like to ask you for a fair review of my site http://digiwebs.com, and give me suggestions/opinions even criticism, because when people criticize you tend to pay more attention to that.

You will note that when you go to the site the what's new content comes up first but i am trying to get that removed.

Please tell me what i can improve on, or even change to make the site better.

Thank you in advance.

Site is SLOW. Cripplingly so.

Analysis here. (http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150126_4A_539/1/details/)

Red bar in chart is a missing, mis-named or misplaced image, a 404 not found error.

F grades - click on those for how to fix.

Yep, needs some seious speed improvments, I suggest reading the following.

Speed Up Your Site Within The ACP (http://ozzmodz.com/showthread.php/2580-Speed-Up-Your-Site-Within-The-ACP)

Speed Up Your Site Via htaccess (http://ozzmodz.com/showthread.php/2579-Speed-Up-Your-Site-Via-htaccess)

Other than that it look fine so far.

That's not saying nothin'. My VB5 site comes in 1.5 seconds faster with a half megabyte header image. Something is wrong somewhere, on 4.2.2, you should be way faster than VB5, other than the speed, the site looks pretty clean and the colors are decent with exception of the blinding white background.

No nothing is wrong in vB 4.2 and vB5 is not faster than vB4

What's wrong with this test of a 4.2.2 site?

And your post has nothing to do with what the OP asked.

Thank you for your reply, but what red chart is missing, can you show me a screenshot please. At the link I gave, there is a chart showing all of your server requests. The request that has a red line through it is the 404. Clicking on that gives you details on the call.

Is it incorrect?

I said nothing about 4.2.2 being slow. I said his site has something slowing it down.

the site looks pretty clean and the colors are decent with exception of the blinding white background.

My thoughts on OPs site.

Proof (http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150126_51_7FY/1/details/),That's.... Pretty slow. 4.3 seconds for only 37 requests and 593kb of data.

Your header image is actually only 118kb.

Thank you in advance. Now that we've fixed the majority of your loading problems over at Ozzy's site, I can review your site's looks.

I like the color choices - they're not garish or lurid in any way and are pleasing to the eye. I like your choice of the traditional, vertical legacy postbit as well.

Postbit is attractive and minimalist, making the content of the posts come to the forefront.

Nice style choice and nice site overall.

I didn't say it was fast, I said it was faster than the OP's site, which means his site has issues. His site should be faster. The first test was 6 seconds, I ran the image through a png compressor and sheared off 1.7 seconds.

I didn't say it was fast, I said it was faster than the OP's site, which means his site has issues. All his issues are fixed. He took advantage of our optimization workshop over at Ozzy's site. Only problem left is his host, which looks to be a pretty poor one.

When his host feels like it, he gets 3.8 seconds load time and even gets a B for time to first byte.

Nicely done, OP (http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150126_Q2_7YT/)

Either you're using a mod to boost these stats or your conversion rate is 0.1%.

Also, i can't tell at a first glance what this forum is about. I also notice that your second link above for "applications" doesn't actually produce anything.

The colors are fairly easy on the eyes, which is cool. Why does your background color (gray) end mid page though? As far as that, i think the white works better anyway.

Your about us in footer doesn't really say much and your affiliate links don't point anywhere (might wanna fix that for conversions, same with social media icons).

For your forums such as "market" and "hire", I would suggest using our Extra Threadfields mod (link in signature or profile). You can use the mod to add things to the market such as "Price" and what not, and then for hire you can have "type of job, date available, etc".

Hope that helps.

I have paid to start getting some traffic to my site

The forum is for webmasters, application is for members, not guests.

At the time we were changing color, now fixed, we have added Green and Blue colors with boxed and fluid for all colors.

Your about us in footer doesn't really say much and your affiliate links don't point anywhere (might wanna fix that for conversions, same with social media icons).
The affiliate links has started but i don't have others yet, Social media icons have not got url's just # because that will come later, the footer area will be looked at soon, due to spending a lot of time securing the site fully.

That sounds like a great idea, i will look into that, thank you.

Hope that helps.

If you are interested in helping me setup the threadsfield please PM me.
