I'm trying to change the text in the Welcome PM that is sent when a new person joins. I've not been successful. Here's what I've done:

AdminCP -> Settings -> Options -> User Registration Options.

I've managed to change the activation email and welcome email, but not the welcome PM title.

which phrase is for Welcom PM?

Thank you

It won't change any PM's that have been sent, only new welcome PM's

I know that. This is the PM sent to a new user (created 2 min ago):

This is the PM setup by vbulletin automatically, not the setup i've made in phrase manager

Try clearing the system cache.

AdminCP > Maintenance > Clear system Cache

I've not experienced the behaviour you are, so I can only guess. Anytime you make a change in the system, if it does not show your changes, try clearing the cache.

This looks like the subject of the email that gets sent out ozzy47.

welcomepm_gemailsubject is the correct place to edit the welcome PM and you can see in the screen shot that it is edited. I edited mine in this same location and it works perfectly, always has. May be a language related issue.

Yeah it used the same phrase.
