If you PM me a full admin account, as well as a link to the post and profile, I will see if I can figure out what is going on.
This type of thing can't be figured out from screenshots and such alone.

Well I have no clue why it is acting the way it is. But you can go to the profile in the ACP with this link, http://www.ymarket.org/moderator.php?do=useroptions&u=2
I notice it was the second user to join your site about 25 days after you made the site.
I would keep a eye on the user, and see if they try anything suspicious, and if so ban them.
Does it happen every time the user tries to post? If you have any mods installed you could try temporarily disabling all mods by editing you includes/config.php file and inserting this line (near the top just under the <?php line):
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', 1);
(use a programming editor such as notepad++ to edit the file).

I don't think so Kevin, It seems like the user was created, but not fully.
Perhaps from a mod, or steam connect.
First thing I would do though for sure is upgrade to 4.2.2 PL4 as the version you are running has quite a few unpatched security vulnerabilities.
Perhaps from when you installed Inferno Shout, as that mod is not from here, and is put out by a group of hackers. Or a exploit in VBSEO.

What do you mean by that?

Well the user exists, but if you try to get to their profile in the ACP, all it has is empty fields.
Seems like something went wrong somewhere when this user was created.

What ever the issue was, it seems like the user did not get the userid assigned to them properly.
Make sure you get rid of all the files that came with Inferno Shout from the server as well, if there were any to load with the mod.

Make sure the user has a record in userfield table ..

Don't matter, the user has been banned and asked to create a new account. :)

For future reference, you could have tried Maintenance > General Update Tools > Fix Broken User Profiles :)

I thought about that Lynne, but the users profile was not broke, it was that the userid was not fully assigned to the user somehow. So by looking for the user in the ACP, he would not show up. Clicking on the users name in List New Registrations would lead you to a profile page in the ACP, but no fields filled out.

Did you take a look at the database? When a user is registered, the userid gets put in several different tables. You can still view some things like the profile, or the user in the admincp if only a couple of tables are filled out. But, you will have other things broken if not ALL of those tables have the information in them. It just would have been worth trying.

No I did not, I did not have access to the DB. But the OP just banned the member and asked him/her to re register.
