I have been running vBSEO with vB4.X for 4 years now but feel that it is a ticking time bomb ready to explode.
DragonByte SEO looks good as a replacement, does anybody have experience with this? I should add that we have 4,507
threads and 16,843 posts, not sure if that is big or small in this world.
Happy new year!

They've had a fair few number of customers switch to the software. People we have recommended it to have been fairly happy, at least I haven't heard any scathing reviews.

If that was my site I wouldn't run any plugin, you can get the pretty url's with the stock vbulletin 4. What's to say DB's site will be up in a few years. I don't think anyone thought vbseo would vanish like it did.
You can "SEO" your site yourself and save your money. ;)
The one good thing about DB's is they do have a converter so you can keep the same URL structure that your vbseo install had.

If you buy the Pro version. I had a client that had vBSEO and when that went south I installed DBTech SEO on his site (Pro) and it was really simple to convert the URL'S from vBSEO to DBSEO. All the settings imported and we really did not have to do anything.

Most sites I know that switched to it have had no issues.
The main reason people have switched is to get the redirects from old vBSEO URLs.

Yeah I know Fillip has done a great job with the mod, and stays on top of any bug reports that do come in.

I use this myself though not for the seo friendly urls. I use it for the meta tag options, social links and the sitemaps mostly.
Fillip is amazing and will take care of you for sure. If you want to dump Vbseo then this is the way to go for sure! I only wish I used it a couple years ago when I dumped Vbseo!

The software was installed today without problem. It looks like a very powerful package so my fingers are crossed. Thank you folks again for your help.

Take a few test page loading speed
10 tests without dbseo and 10 tests with dbseo
And thou shalt be pleasantly surprised
That page loading speed with dbseo(vbseo) more by 30-40% !
Good luck in use

You are correct sir. A solid 30% speed up. Our search traffic has also increased from 31% to over 40%. There is still some tuning to do but yes it was well worth the money.

I use DBSEO, and I think its the best SEO Addon for vBulletin right now. So many options and features, and it makes your URL's very SEO Friendly.

Can you setup the same meta description instructions as VBSEO in DBSEO?
