Facebook Connect Options

Hi,

I hope i'm posting this in the right section, if not then I'm sorry.

I have recently installed facebook connect to my forum. It seems to work fine. I was able to connect my facebook account to the forum.

Now I'd like to enable the following things but I'm not sure if it's possible. I've tried to search for it but most entries are from years ago.

1. is it possible for users to share a thread? is this the rif way to install that?:

2. is it possible to have forums threads automatically posted on the facebook fan page and/or the other way around?

ps. also, I feel quite stupid but how are people supposed to register with their FB accounts? nothing shows up at the register page.

Yes do a search at the top of the forum using Facebook as your keyword. In the first drop down choose "All Mods" in the second drop down choose "Titles Only". This will give you quite a few mods that can be installed for Facebook. just be sure that you check that you install the vB4 mods only as vB3/5 most likely will not work with your site if you are running vB4.

See above, there is a hack that will most likely do that.

When you log out you should see a Facebook Connect button at the top of the forum. They will click that button to register with Facebook.

Thanks! I have found a way to have people share thread on twitter and facebook. Still trying to find out no2 though.
