VB 4.3 release date

Does anyone know when VB 4.3 is going to be released?

It's been over a year since the last update. PHP 5.5 support would be real nice to have.

Don't think there is gonna be a 4.3. They now want everyone to buy it again and get vb 5.

4.2.3 is compatible with PHP 5.5

I actually meant 4.2.3.

They are taking their time releasing what is a featureless point release.

Like the releases of 3.8.8 (& 3.8.9), the 4.2.3 Beta will remain as a beta for a few months at least - there is no internal QA time for it, so it remains labelled as beta until such time as we are confident its stable, This will be measured by the number of 4.2.3 related bugs (or lack there of).

You can use 4.2.3 on a live site as it is, you won't invalidate support. The usual rules on our beta releases don't apply with 4.2.3.

As above, for php 5.5 use 4.2.3 (currently Beta 3).
