I have been searching for days here and in vbulletin.com and all gallery plugins seem to be for version 4 and earlier.
I am a newbie, and installed the latest 5.1.3 - where do I find the link to a gallery template? (to display recent images from all albums).
Only link I can find is forum.com/member/username/media
thanks for any help you can offer!! I'd also love more thorough docs - I've read the small one on vb.com

special/albums should show you the Galleries/Albums. You may want to edit the module to set the date range since by default it is set to Last Month.

where can I find more information? I must be missing some docs or something - I need to learn a lot more about this program - fast! :)

The only documentation is in the manual and I don't think it mentions that page. I just happen to know it exists. :)

Hello,
the only fast and possible way in vB-standard is to make a new site with the sitebuilder and put a search-widget in it. In Widget-config you could define you only wanna display images (gallery).
This is not a supercool Album, but at least you will get your images listed.

I have a feeling that the links in special/albums don't actually work properly...been a while since I tested it but I got told it wasn't supposed to work....
I got mine working with the help of a replacement variable which is not really an ideal fix.

Now actually, it's not that useful a page anyway...an album list needs some images.
On the site I linked to above, I created a tab that leads to a search string, that pulls in everything that might be classed as an "album" with images, which is a more attractive interface.
The code to use to make such a tab is:
search?searchJSON={%22date%22:{%22from%22:%2230%22 },%22type%22:[%22vBForum_Gallery%22],%22sort%22:{%22lastcontent%22:%22desc%22},%22view %22:%22%22,%22exclude_type%22:[%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22]}
That will give you updated albums from the past 30 days.
