4.0.3 is so dated alot of the styles may not be compatible.

Upgrade to the latest version of vB4, or look for styles that were coded for your version.

It's not hard to fix the version not compatible problem. Pick whatever skin you want, then pm me a link

Force, if he is running v4.0.3 and tries a style coded for v4.2.x it will not work, to many changes in the templates, especially the navigation side of things. This is why coders add a version dependency. :)

if he picks a skin version that I know wont work I will tell him and if i have time I will tell him what ones that do work. On another note would love to know why he has not updated to the latest vb4

You can try 4.0.4 skin here the closest you can get, but when uploading please "ignore style version"

You should really upgrade to 4.2.2

4.0.3 is riddled with bugs and security issues. Its not nice, but fairly realistic.

It might have bugs and security problems but if the guy wants to run it its up to him I told him over skype he should update but he wont I even offered to do it for free
