Another mod brought to you by,
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2015/01/1.png

This mod will allow your users to ignore avatars of users that they find offensive. Once a user ignores another users avatar, it will be replaced by a predefined image. It will only show to that user, all other users will see the original avatar.

It is a simple installation, upload the contents of the UPLOAD folder then import the product XML, ozzmodz_ignore_avatar

You can edit the options under the settings, [OzzModz] Avatar Ignore System Settings

Complete Feature List
Option to disable the mod completely.
Option to select which side of the member action dropdown to show the option on.
Option to change the avatar that will be used as the replacement.
Option to select which usergroups can ignore other users avatars.
Option to select which usergroups avatars can not be ignored.
Frequently Asked Questions.

Q. Why do I need such a thing, you ask?

A. Some admins might like to have this available to their members if they find some users avatars offensive. Also Max Taxable (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=421531) asked for it to be made. :)

Q. Does this work everywhere?

A. No, it is designed to only work in the postbit.

Q. Can the option be added to the post foot control area?

A. No, there is already to many mods that add options there, and this would just further clutter it up.

Q. How do I change the avatar that are shown ?

A. Edit the setting, Ignored Avatar Image and add the image name and type in the option. Should look similar to this, No.png. Image must be loaded in the folder, ozzmodz_mods/ozzmodz_ignore_avatar/images.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

I appreciate the support!

This is a good one Ozzy. Is there any issues with this mod being activated if avatars are turned off in the usercp settings?

This Mod quickly put the quietus on avatar complaints at one of my boards. This should be native vB and I highly recommend it. Installed and nominated.

I'm even finding myself using this, blocking avatars I don't like, on my own boards. Had no idea this would be as useful as it is.

Cool mod!
Considering installing, however..
Can one be made for signatures as well?

Thanks!

Ozzy what if we don't specify and image to replace the ignored avatar with? I'm considering this for my users with photosensitive epilepsy triggers but replacing an image with an image is a bit pointless for them.

Granted I think I'll use this mod anyways as it is quite handy :)

As it is now, it would show some text like ozzy47's Avatar.

Will replace the avatars selected with, empty space.

Yeah that image should suit some people. Perhaps in a future update, I can add a option in the ACP settings to display the replacement avatar or display nothing at all.
