I was wondering if it was possible to say if someone posted a ban appeal on my forums, and I only wanted the person who posted it and all people with administrative usergroups to post in it

is that possible?

Show ban reason in notice. Allows the banned user to create a ban appeal thread,

I have never used this, nor am I recommending this, but maybe it can be revised to what you are looking for.

I don't think that's what I'm after, I'll wait for Dave.

The plugin that tbworld posted does everything you asked for. What part of the plugin does not do what you asked for

That plugin allows banned users to post ban appeals.

I didn't ask for that at all.

And I do appreciate the responses, any help is great.

For certain sections of my forum such as ban appeals, community complaints section etc. I want only the poster and admins to be able to post in the threads, so random members don't post in other peoples ban appeals, community complaints etc.

If you don't understand, I'll gladly explain to a further extent.

Side note, I do actually appreciate your responses btw.

All you need to do is make a section that only banned and admin group sees then the plugin does what you want really how hard is it to do. Even if you just use forum permissions you dont even need to use a plugin

Just set the forum permissions accordingly. Nothing that would make a plugin necessary, really.

Hmm, I can't see any permissions for that specific section that state only the poster of a thread can post in the section.

I basically want everyone to be able to post threads in that section, But only the Poster of a thread can post in there own thread, know what I mean ?

In the permissions its "...can see others threads" "...can post in others threads"....etc you turn those off for everyone except your staff that way only the poster and staff can see their thread, noone else can see the content..etc so it's private between them and staff. You also make that specific forum only visible...etc to banned members.
