Hi all,
I have come across a forum (VB) which has a menu pane on the left with search tabs.
I was wondering how they managed it and where I could get an add-on like it and if anyone knows if one exists..

Basically if you visit this forum there is the menu pane on the left with search links.
So if I had a gaming forum for example, using their menu it would be like this;

Search for;
Latest PC users
Latest Xbox Users
Latest Mac users
Most liked screenshots

and so on...
It's like an advanced member search but I don't know where to find this mod or even whee to start if I'm honest.

Searches such as 'advanced user search' and 'advanced filters' aren't working.

It's basically a link to specific searches of usergroups based on the search filter and also like latest screenshots or latest members.

I would appreciate a pointer in the right direction.
Many thanks :D

A link to the are would help, unless you want us to guess the site you were looking at.

Well I didn't think it would be completely necessary but here is the link anyway..
It's something that was pointed out to me and I would really like to know how the search tools were achieved, for all links too...
Thank you

Nobody can help or has an idea on how to set these links up and search filters?
Many thanks in advance...

if you look at the query string on the links from that site, you can get a pretty good idea of what they are doing.

There used to be this modification, which they probably used:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=102405

Since you do not have that choice, take a look at "memberlist.php" you can see that you can query "custom user profile fields", this is essentially what they are doing.
Sorry, I could not find another modification that would assist you. :)

If you had the specifics on what fields you wish to search, then I could be more helpful. :)
