VB5, I don't see under "CMS" in admincp where to make custom grids/layouts.

I only have three options:

Content List
Category List
Tag List

any help?

You would go to the CMS/Articles page > Site Builder > Edit Page and create your layout there.

Is there any possible way you could show me a screen shot? I am not finding it, I feel dumb xD

yeah that allows me to choose layouts, but only the default 3 diff versions are there... i want to make a custom layout to allow more/better arrangement of modules.

You can do Edit Page > Change Layout, but right now those are the only layout choices.

Right now, there are only two two-column layouts and a single column layout. There is a Jira to add more layouts here - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-1304 (Note, you must first login to the vbulletin.com forums as a Licensed User before you may see the Jira issue.)

I believe a fair few number of new layouts will be available in 5.1.3

I can download xml's of custom grid layouts, but the portion of admincp that used to be in earlier versions to upload those xmls is not there... it sucks :(

vB5 is a complete rewrite of the code. The database structure is totally different than in vB4 and just the basic way things work is completely different.

We never give dates on releases. We always say it will be released when it is done. It's saves the whining when we are 'late' in releasing it. Currently 5.1.3 beta1 is available for download. So, you are welcome to install that on your test site and see what is available there.

That is just so weird that they would take away the upload/download grid xmls... like the entire grid manager just gone. You only get 3 friggin options for layouts... that is so lame.
