I'm on version 4.2.2
My site posts a whole lot of images.....and I'm trying to get my world very, very MOBILE FRIENDLY.....
I do have "Forum Runner" and that is pretty awesome....but....I really, really like the Default Mobile Style....Simple, Clean...easy! Just the way my users like it.
But....I cannot see HOW TO POST AN IMAGE from that Default Mobile Style????
Can it be done? Can it be added?
HELP??

would also love to know, and am just about to post a thread regarding only 3 minor changes to the default mobile style. it's a bit of a shame that it's not possible, because there are A LOT of mobile users on my forum, far more than the dying breed of PC forum browsers/users.

When the mobile style was created, it was basically not possible -- so don't blame vBulletin. At that time it had to do with mobile devices not having the capability.
Today some devices have a browser capability most do not -- due to security risks. Intrinsic device APPS, have always been the means in which mobile devices extended their reach to external applications. This is why vBulletin developed it's mobile APP and why users use ForumRunner and TapATalk.
Do some additional research on the web, so your not disappointed when no one replies with a solution. :)
Today it is now possible (although, unsupported) as most devices implement MMS, a select few (but growing) have direct browser support.
Take Care. :)

Oops! I read the 'original post' incorrectly. You said "from" the mobile style not "from" the mobile device. Sorry, about that. :)
You have the capability already by using BBCODES, so the answer is yes it is possible. There are limitations and I discussed them at the top of this post. I think what you are really asking: "Is there any user dialog boxes for requesting an image from the web using the default mobile browser", and as far as I can see, there is not. Yes, they could be added.

I have searched and searched all over this site and the VBULLETIN.COM site....and I'm amazed that nobody else has asked this question.....

When on a device...such as an iPhone....you can post an image when using the "FULL SITE" link...and then using the browser (such as Safari)....but everything is SO SMALL!!!!
So....I would like to have a button to upload and image. Something in the "Additional Options" area....a Button that kinda looks like the "PREVIEW" button that would say: "Upload Image"
How do I go about GETTING THAT????

You should try out tapatalk. Tapatalk is a lot better then forumrunner, and it's free for both your users and you. You can setup tapatalk on your forum for free, and the tapatalk mobile app is free for your members. And you can post/upload images within tapatalk, among other things. You can also buy a tapatalk premium membership, so you can design your own personal mobile app for your forum using the Tapatalk app Framework. Tapatalk has a very simple app creator on their website for you to create your own app. But like I said, that service costs money.
Just try it out, and see if tapatalk has what you need for you and your members.
If you want to upload images using the mobile style, you might have to pay someone to develop a custom mod/addon for you. I can recommend a few developers for you if you want.
