I've just activated the CMS component of my vBulletin 4 site and started populating with content a the rate of 4-5 articles a day.
The forum side of my site which in essence has been the entire site for a number of years is busy with a high volume of concurrent users, 2-3000 posts a day and an archive of nearly 6.5m posts now.
I have Facebook (5000 likes) and Twitter (15000 followers) that I send out links to and I will, in time, make the home page for the site the content page rather than the forum.
I'm looking for any hints, tips, tricks and mods to try and keep the two sides closely coupled and to ensure the content gets as many eyeballs as possible.
I'd also appreciate any advice on making the CMS side look clean and modern as it feels to me that the default CMS in vB 4 looks a bit dated. I'm tinkering with things such as fonts etc to try and change that but I'm not sure how far that will get.
