Major concern here!

--------------- Added 1406905332 at 1406905332 ---------------

I've gone in and disabled all hooks, still have the same issue.

Created a new style - same issue

Turned off the automatic mobile style for mobile users in Style options

Reverted all templates in a non-user-selectable style but still same issue.

I can't see how this has happened all of a sudden

The latest mod I installed was the twitter BB code mod.https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=2469016#post2469016

It didn't work, unfortunately.

Perhaps that has created some sort of issue in the /clientscripts/ckeditor/ckeditor.js edit?

Thanks for any help

Any files listed as not containing expected contents in Maintenance > Diagnostics > Suspect File Version?

What version of vB? What version of PHP on the server?

It's version 4.2.1, and the Suspect file version was

ckeditor.js File does not contain expected contents

Will I have to replace it, or is there an easy fix?

Would love some more help here.

Thank you

Yes, you should replace it with a default file. I'd suggest making a backup of that file in case you need something from it later.

Also, please note that this site is run by volunteers. We aren't here 24/7 so you need to be patient for replies.

Thanks, Lynne.

I know it's fully volunteer based, and I appreciate that a lot.

Just hard to work around kids and work, ya' know.

Thanks again.

Didn't change anything, sadly. At a bit of a loss on this one.

What version of PHP on the server?

Did you verify you have enabled the WYSIWYG editor in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Message Posting Interface Options > Enable Clickable Message Formatting Controls ?

Hey Lynne. Thanks again for replying.

The PHP is 5.3.28

And yes, I did try MPI options.

I also reset my templates and that didn't help either.

Thanks a lot for continuing to help

Problem solved. Sorry to take time off your hands there, Lynne.

It was the ckeditor. I just replaced it with a previous version of itself and everything's now sorted.

Thanks again for the help.
