What mod converts URLs to their text description automatically?

I`ve seen that on NBR forums, if I post a link, the description of the link is automatically added rather then the actual link URL which is pretty neat
Example:

They are using a mod that is now dead, it's called vbSEO and it was obtained via purchase from a 3rd party site.

right but this was released in 2008 Im afraid to install it and mess up my forums which are in a perfect state right now..
