Using this style - Avenger (A Dark - Black/Grey Style) by TheLastSuperman (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=312369) I have tweaked it to suit my content, taste, and poor eyesight :)

Although I am never really through tweaking, I think I have tweaked it to a degree worthy of a critique.

Superman (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=274667) does EXCELLENT work and his styles have inspired me to dig deeper in my customizations of such. Whenever he releases a style, it's like a big deal for those of us that like his work.

The only thing that has kept me from having this style nominated for "Board of the month" is the lack of content on my site.

So, positive critiques are welcomed of my site. (http://www.k4gap.com/forums/forum.php)

I totally agree but, for the purposes this forum may be used for, I've decided to go dark.

Dark themes rule, they are far easier on the eyes. This is why any job you see where people have to stare at screens alot (air traffic control, Navy ships and submarines, etc) use dark BG. That little feeling you get when you first load a dark background page after staring at harsh light BG ones for awhile? It's your eyes going "ahhhhhh..."

Ok, on to the review. Very nicely done. Tasteful and not gaudy or garish at all. Very nice execution of the footer. Fairly light KB load, only a little over 400kb.

You do have three 404 errors for missing or mis-named or mis-called images. (The red lines here (http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140726_ZP_FHJ/1/details/)).

Nice forumicons and generally a very good first impression and tasteful design.

Thanks for the helpful critique. I'll have to figure out why the missing items.

==============

It's calling for an image that's from a style I no longer have and have deleted?
http://www.k4gap.com/forums/images/avenger_blue/gradients/gradient-grey-down.pngHmmmm, maybe it was used in the new (different version) of the style by Superman? I'll have to check more on this.

I found it. All missing items corrected.
Thanks a bunch.

That might be the same as the vBulletin gradient file, but @superman would know. :)

I contacted Mike about it. It's all good now, thanks
