Hi guys, i own a 167k members forum with vBulletin 4.2 and have it hosted in liquidweb.com . I am now interested in moving all to www.linode.com which uses nginx instead of Apache. Any opinions or experiences regaridng running vbulletin on nginx or regaridng linode service ?
The vbulletin manual section for this doesnt work https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/preparefiles_nginx
Thanks

Pretty straight forward, if you're not using mod_rewrite urls, you can just install nginx and php-fpm.
Though, you should note linode gives you a node that you can do what you want with. You're not forced to use nginx over apache, if you're so inclined.
Running a vBulletin 4.2.2 installation on nginx and MariaDB for a long time, works amazingly fast and smooth.

It's running on a VPS with CentOS, managed by myself.
