Image dialog not working

Good morning,

Recently started encountering a problem with the insert image button in the wysiwyg editor on our site. When using the editor and clicking on the button to insert an image, normally a dialog box would pop up where users could then upload their image file or provide the URL to an image. Then hit the OK or Cancel button.

Now, when you hit the insert image button, I can see the page gets dimmed as expected when focus is moved to the background. However, the dialog box never pops up. The only way to escape is to use the browser back button, which takes you all the way back to the thread.

Any ideas?

Did you install any plugins lately which could cause a conflict?

Also in Google Chrome, press F12 and click on console, reload the page and try to hit the insert image button again and see if any (red) error pops-up in the console.

Thanks Dave.

Disabling the latest plugin didn't work, but disabling all the spam blocking plugins helped. I used your tip on the console to also trace down a conflict with Rapport on one of the computers I was testing with.
