What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

I appreciate the support!

Add a feature... possibility to add a forum title or forum description, without going on admincp.

Not sure what you mean. This is for allowing the original poster to edit thread titles in specified forums, has nothing to do with admincp access.

Ok, you do realize the title can be edited, but the original title is what will still show up on forumhome, showthread etc?

I tried many times, but didn't work. possibly there is an error in my vb database. I will installed new vb as a demo and test each mod I have one by one. This way I can tell which one works.

Thanks for the great effort.

It is working as intended. I created a new registered user on the test site.

Set the option, Message Posting and Editing Options --> Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title --> to 1

The posted a post as the user, and waited 3 minutes. The changed the title to something different. It still showed up as the original title in forum display.

I then allowed the usergroup the ability to change the title, then changed it. The title changed on forum display as it should.

Something to remember -->

Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title:

This setting is the number of minutes in which a user may edit the title of a thread that he starts, and have it apply to the thread listing screen (forumdisplay). After this time period, the change will only apply to the title shown in the first post of the thread. (Administrators and moderators with permission may always edit the title of the thread as shown on forumdisplay through the Edit Thread function.)
