understood, but wouldn't it still be the same template or stylevar since every vB forum has the nav links in that same spot? :confused:

No, that bubble is not in a default style.

Not sure, that is why you need to ask in the thread/site where you got the style from. It is impossible for anyone to know how every style was made.

Probably neither. Get a tool like firebug and find out which class or id is responsible for that border, and override that setting in additional.css.
