in Forum Viewing Permissions
when you set " Can View Thread Content = set to "No" : to special user group ,
if you use Search Button result will not show, in forum that you not allow to view
but:
while if you click NEWPOST you can see threads posted but you can't open it.and that is good. because your set Can View Thread Content = set to "No"
i think its bug,
if you search must have result and show threads ,but usergroup will not open the content o threads...
