rotataing avatar

hi, i would like to know is there is a way to have a rotating avatar, like you pick from a group of 3 or upload a gorunp of 3 and then select them to be used in the rotation. the avatar rotates every 15 mins or 15 new posts. so does anyone have a idea on how to do this???

would any body want this if i want it? i can see and think that not many people know how to do it so i guess i can try to figure it out.
so just tell me if it is worth my while to make it public or not

Although it sounds interesting, I think it will only confuse users.
I don't have a problem with rotating signatures, but avatars are exactly what they are - avatars.

yes i know but maybe i can make it so that it rotates every 100 post or every 10 days, cuz i know many of the people on my site change their avatar everyday due to the fact that they make most of them.

I think this would be quite cool. Interesting concept. There should be a maximum number of allowable avatars to rotate, say in the admin cp.

i know that i would like this but the way i would like it rotated would be everytime you changed the tread of somethign like that it rotates

but with a max of say 2 or 3

neo could you just use a simple randon function? have like random avatars selected from a certain folder... count how many there are then do it random like that... (you could probably include the time function as well) regards...
