I went ahead and removed the grey fading from the header. As the writing is white, it is now totally invisible. When i put the mouse over where the buttons would be, they show up with the blueish/grey backing.

How do i change it so that it has the blueish/grey backing all the time, or any color come to that as i may go with a darker color i am also using on the page?

And how do i change that grey border that surrounds the entire page?

Thanks

Adjusting templates is not a good idea. If you can do it in additional.css, do it there.

Maybe template is the wrong word, i'm adjusting the colors etc to the basic one. I'm not messing with anything beyond that right now.

I'm just adjusting the colors. I thought this would be do-able through CP. I've done all the changes so far through the CS. An image is attached in the previous message showing what i am talking about.

If you are running the default vbulletin style we might be able to guess without your URK. It is unclear from your picture exactly what you are looking for. If you want assistance please make it easy for us. :)

If you cannot post your URL, you will have to identify very clearly what you are looking for, otherwise you might not receive a response to your question. For most of us guessing on your solution is just a waste of our time.

I hope this explains why we ask for the URL I did appreciate the photo, but in this case it was not enough information to assist you. :)

I agree with this idea.
You need to revert the template to default and start from the beginning point.
