I've googled this and the only options i have seen to do this is for VB4. Even the Impex in VB won't do this for VB5.
I certainly hope this is possible. Can someone advise me of the best way to do this?

Import in vB4, and then stop. If you want to make yourself unhappy, upgrade to vB5 after that.

I just purchased VB5 Connect. Do i have the option of going with VB4?
I'm seeing a "Download vBulletin 4.x Publishing Suite" in the members area, is that what i need? The "publishing suite" part made it sound like something else.

Thanks for your help. I guess its off to VB4 i go.
And would Impex be the best way to go to migrate my forum over from phpbb?

Your only way, likely. How else would you want to do it?

When i googled it, i came up with services like cms2cms.com - i was just wondering if there was some kind of problem with using the Impex software that someone would want to use a paid service. Being totally new and inexperienced, i thought i better ask before proceeding.

The download states:
Download Latest Version 4.2.2 Patch Level 1
Has the problem been fixed now or do i still need to make the change?
