Im afraid to use great vBSEO Mod? or should i not be afraid?

vBUlleting surprisingly have quite uggly URLs not allowing full overwrite:

Enabling friendly URLs can increase your site's ranking in search engines and can be useful for users to understand the URL's that they follow.
Standard URLs:
showthread.php?t=12345

Basic Friendly URLs:
showthread.php?1234-Thread-Title

Advanced Friendly URLs:
showthread.php/1234-Thread-Title

Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs:
threads/1234-Thread-Title

All these are crap. Why i dont see full rewrite like:
/forum-name/thread-name-threadid ?

Is there any supercompatible lightweight Mod which one can use years to come?

Ugly isn't what matters, its what works, that matters.

If you really don't like those choices, go with dBSEO.

try zoints seo if your still on 3.8 idk if it was ever made for 4x. but theres nothing wrong with vBSEO just they are no more so there wont be any updates to it, although the functionality and everything is still there in their current product, which to me, no other product comes close to matching.

There are a lot of problems with vBSEO, namely security issues. I've seen a few reports for new security issues since they've closed. Who's going to fix those?
