Hi friends

I am using vbulletin 4.2.2 PL 1
here I am facing k problem

on registration if e-mail ID is of Hotmail, MSN, Live and Outlook
then NO activation e-mail is sent to user.
why it happening? plz help to solve the issu.

Do you know if it's being sent by vbulletin? It could be that the email is being sent but it's being refused because they have your server listed as a source of spam. You should contact Hotmail and ask them.

we had the same problem with a friend adder and noticed nothing was being sent. Hotmails spam filers are so full on, they filtered them out. i dont know if that has anything to do with it. hotmail is utter gash!

They are set as default in the options panel to stop people registering from them, you can delete them and allow people who use them to register, but the amount of spammers you get will increase.

There are some sites that also ban gmail.com addresses, some forums will only allow IP allocated email adresses because it gives a link to the person.

Check the mail logs on your server to see what the bounced email says.
