Hello.

If I change something in the Footer-Template, JS does not function in the forum any more. After intensive search in the source text, I have found out that it is about a DIV block with the ID "footer". If this is away (extinguished / renamed) JS does not go any more. Why? Does this know somebody? I can find no relation to the ID "footer" in the JS files.

Best regards.

I'm curious, why would it have had the wrong ID to begin with ?

He explained that over at vBG.com. He's rewriting the complete style, and for one reason or the other takes offense with the "footer" id. He'd rather edit the javascript files than to name an element in his style that way.
