I have been trying to use a background image in the postbit instead of a colour, but I'm not having a lot of success.
How do I set this up, does anyone know ?

What exactly have you done to do this and what is the end result?

I've tried to use an image in the postbit, by setting an image in the stylevar. postbit_background
The result is no image and the postbit backround changes to white.

Please post *exactly* what you did. You are being too vague for us to be able to help. Maybe your URL is written wrong or something. We can't help without you showing us exactly what you did.

The reason the "URL" appears wrong is the fix you e-mailed me for the post authorisation issue has broken the board !

What I want to do is use an image as the background in the postbit.
If you look in the Stylevar at the postbit_background template, there is an option to use an image.
When I entered the URL of the image, all I got was a white background. when I tested the image URL it worked, so there is an issue there some where.
I Also wanted to use an image as the category headers, but can't find the stylevar that controls it.

Huh? I can't tell if the URL is wrong when you haven't actually posted it.
When you enter a URL for a stylevar, you need to do it as:
url("correct/path/to/your/image.png")
and so I was asking to view your stylevar to see if you did it correctly and see if the path was correct.
Category background should be primary_module_subheader_background

I'm actually stuck in a similar situation, but with adjusting the height to match the image I'm calling with the above url(/directory/directory/image.png)
I'm insanely lost and have no idea where I can go to adjust the height. Any help?
