Insert Image issue

When i try to attach an image in a thread, i can select it but the " upload " box or link is missing. I've googled all night and cannot find a fix, its weird.

What were you working on when it stopped working?

This is a new install, it worked before but i deleted the original forum and started fresh, actually i had liquidweb install it for me.

1.) PM me a temporary account username/password. I will take a look.

2.) From vBulletin Admin Control Panel run PHPINFO from the diagnostics section. You can get the PHP version from running the utility. It can be disabled by the host company, but usually it is not.

I found it but cant locate where it shows the version

What is missing is the flash uploader. You must have downloaded v4.2.2 before they fixed a missing file (actually I think they deleted a file, cannot remember).

My recommendation is to upload the fixed Flash uploader. I will attach a few links that will help you. Stay tune.

I installed the patch, but still the same results. In the insert image box, im able to browse for a photo but once i select one, the upload box/link is missing so i dont have a way to upload it.

Clear your system cache, to be safe.
See maintenance in admincp.

I will take another look, after you do that.

1) Make sure the flash uploader is enabled in the Admin Control Panel

Options -> Message Attachment Options -> Asset Manager - Enable -> Select "Yes, Flash Upload by Default"

2) Make sure you are NOT using remote YUI

vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options

Use Remote YUI set to None

3) Clear your browser cache
