How can I put adsense advertisement in the left or right side?

I have free space in my site and I want to use it to put advertisement, I already using 3 adsense advertisement, can i put 1 more in the left or the right side?
I want to put one here: http://prntscr.com/35xcof is it posable? if it is so how?

1. Go to ACP --> Settings --> Options --> Forum Sidebar and Block Options and enable the Forum Sidebar option.

2. Then in ACP --> Forums & Moderators --> Forum Blocks Manager > Add Block and select, Custom HTML/PHP and paste your code in the Content block, and choose HTML for the content type.

I believe Google only allows 3 instances on a page at a time. Anything more than that usually results in public service or "free" ads.

This rule may have changed but I do not believe so.
