I transfered the database from my vBulletin 3.8.5 to another host due to upgrading from PHP 5.3 to PHP 5.4. Now every time when I visit the forum I get the message that downloading usercp.php, showpost.php and showtread.php failed.

Do I have to change something in these scrips ?

My browser in use is Firefox 28.0.

Downloading a fresh copy of vBulletin and uploading it to the server may help.

If vB is asking you to download those .php files instead of actually showing you the page, then you need to talk to your host about it.

vB is not asking.
A download message shows up that it failed to download the php files I mentioned. I don't know for what reason. May be it is something wrong in the script or thinking about it, may be the script is trying to put a cooky on my computer, which can't manage to do. Thank you for the reply's all but I like this vB version and can have a free upgrade but I don't want to.

I made a screenshot of the message.

'mislukt' means 'failure'
'alle downloads tonen' means 'show all downloads'

It shouldn't be trying to download a php file though. It should render the page. Is it rendering the page at all?

I find download very strange also, thats why I was thinking about cookies.
Could you describe what is meant by rendering ? I don't think it has something to do with this (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/american_english/rendering).

I mean, if you click on a link to showthread.php?t=xxxx, you should see the thread. Are you seeing the thread or just getting a notification that the download of the file failed?

It's possible that when you migrated your files that the permissions for those files have changed, check to see that they are CHMOD 0644
