Ok, Maybe I am missing something. Maybe... there is another place where USER PERMISSIONS are. But this is frustrating to no end! Are the 5.0 forums still in beta? I paid for THIS??/ I keep asking myself. Anyway... someone was able to start a NEW THREAD as GUEST Today. It appears to be a person who has previously registered but was not logged in. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?

Unregistered = NO POSTING!

How in the world... can a REGISTERED, but NOT LOGGED IN be able to post! This is going to be a mess!!! We still have not officially launched, and at this point, I am afraid to!

Here is the post:

Thanks,

It appears to be a person who has previously registered but was not logged in. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? Is it a account you happened to delete, after the post? Because then all of that account's posts would be set to "guest."

I note that I see no way for me, as a unregistered guest, to create a thread or reply to one. Not even buttons for that.

Max, thanks for checking it out! I have not deleted any users. I just checked and the USER IS GONE!!?!??!! Good catch Max! How do I get the user info back? I am going to check with the user to see if they removed themselves. If they did not, is there a way to get the user info back?

It will have been removed from the database so I don't see a away to do that without you having a recent backup.
