So this hack means that profiles have a 'secret Admirer button' on their profiles.
Users can click to 'admire' another user which remains anonymous unless that user also clicks their 'admirer' button. At which point, a pop up message telling them they have a match appears.
I saw this mod on a forum years ago and its taken me ages to track down the guy who made it. I am not a developer and dont know much about making this. I did however contact the guy who found the old script and sent this message with it.

This is probably not going to work.
I found the old code, but don't have a database backup for it which means I don't have the templates or the database tables.
I've attached the file which is the include file. If you have a vBulletin coder available, or if you know how to make hacks then this will give you a starter for 10. In profile.php look for the word "HACK" as I always marked what I changed so I could find and maintain it later.
The reason I don't believe it will work as is (even though the database table seems obvious) is that this was made for vBulletin 3.0.8 and vBulletin has had a total re-write since then.
If you have a developer who knows vB4 it should be less than a day's work, otherwise it will take someone ages just to figure out vB4.

If anyone thinks they can take on the task to make this for vB 4.x.x it would be awesome.
It was an incredibly popular hack previously and would love to see it up an running again.
